Days for Girls
Days for Girl is committed to supporting a girl throughout her entire lifecycle, from providing her with a DfG Kit, to teaching her health education, to offering training for her when she grows older.
Millions of women and girls in remote areas lose 5 days of education every month, simply because they lack access to basic hygiene options. Days for Girls gives these days back through sustainable feminine hygiene kits that last for 2-4 years. Imagine how one kit can transform a girl’s life by giving her back days of invaluable education, freedom and opportunity. Now multiply that by millions and imagine what the world would look like. That is the power of Days for Girls!
Days for Girls provides quality sustainable feminine hygiene kits and awareness to girls living in poverty, in over 75 countries. Without these kits girls use leaves, mattress stuffing, newspaper, corn husks, anything they can find, and usually miss out on school or work during menstruation. Our aim is to help keep them in school and work
